Refund & Cancellation Policy

Sidhu Kanhu Seva Foundation is deeply grateful for your generous contributions. As a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, all donations are utilized to fund our social programs across education, healthcare, livelihood, and community development.

General Policy

Donations made to Sidhu Kanhu Seva Foundation are generally considered non-refundable. Since your donation is immediately directed towards charitable activities and an 80G tax exemption receipt is issued, it is extremely difficult for the Foundation to refund the amount once it has been processed and recognized in our financial systems.

Exceptions for Refunds

We recognize that errors can happen. We will examine each request for a refund of a donation and endeavor to make the refund under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate Transaction: If a donation is mistakenly made twice due to a technical error on our payment gateway.
  • Fraudulent Transaction: If an unauthorized transaction was made using your credit card or bank account.
  • Erroneous Amount: If you accidentally entered a significantly higher amount than intended.

Refund Claim Process

If you meet the criteria for a refund exception, please submit your request within 7 days of the donation date.

To request a refund, please send an email to sidhukanhusevafoundation@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Date of Donation
  • Donation Amount
  • Transaction ID or Reference Number
  • Reason for requesting the refund

Please note that if the 80G tax-exemption receipt has already been issued and dispatched to you, we may not be able to process the refund request.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 10-14 business days. Sidhu Kanhu Seva Foundation reserves the right to decline any refund request at its sole discretion, subject to applicable Indian laws.
